Our Committee

CoPPA is a multi-disciplinary organisation whose aims are to consolidate good practice and develop good practice in the Court of Protection and in the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. We primarily seek to do this through education and training and by active representation of our members on court user committees, the ad hoc rules committee and responses to government consultation. The executive committee coordinates this work.
