CoPPA is a multi-disciplinary organisation whose aims are to consolidate good practice and develop good practice in the Court of Protection and in the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. We primarily seek to do this through education and training and by active representation of our members on court user committees, the ad hoc rules committee and responses to government consultation. The executive committee coordinates this work.
Find Out MoreNational CoPPA retains its base in Manchester but to ensure it is accessible on a national level there are several regions that have their own CoPPA lead and they will manage and host meetings and seminars.
Find Out MoreMembership of CoPPA is dealt with by the CoPPA executive committee. Whilst subscriptions are paid to the national group your membership includes all regional attendance and attendance at any seminar from other regions amongst other benefits.
