This seminar will consider the involvement of the person at the centre of Court of Protection proceedings and their family. The seminar will include discussions of access to the court, the difficulties of the 'best interests' model of representation,the role of the litigation friend (including the Official Solicitor) and the need for special measures and reasonable adjustments in the Court of Protection, including training of legal representatives and judges.
